Q. What is Matchpoint? A. Matchpoint is the best way to get providers to compete to provide you with the products and services that you need.

Q. How do I use Matchpoint? A. Using Matchpoint involves 4 easy steps. First, search for a service or product that you need. Next, submit a short form to narrow down the list of potential providers based on your needs. After that, check your email inbox for our confirmation mail. Lastly, click to confirm your search and get matched with 3-5 providers that match your profile and location. Over the next few days, you may receive up to two emails from each of the matched providers with more information about their product or service.

Q. Why is Matchpoint better than other ways of finding providers like my favorite search engine? A. For starters, Matchpoint saves you the hassle and time it takes to do all that searching and clicking. Just fill out one form and within seconds you'll have up to 5 providers competing for your business. Next, by enabling you to tell potential providers a little about your needs through the Matchpoint form you'll only get matched with providers in your area who have what you are looking for. And finally, because you are coming through Matchpoint, providers will know you are a serious searcher and therefore may be able to offer you special discounts or incentives that are only available to Matchpoint users.

Q. Why do you need my email? A. We need your email so that we can forward messages to you from providers that are competing for your business.

Q. Why do I need to confirm my email address? A. We want to make sure you never get any unwanted email from Matchpoint. We will only send you email from matched providers once you confirm your interest.

Q. How will my email address be used? A. We collect your email address so that we can forward you messages from providers that are competing for your business. We do this after you verify your interest by replying to the confirmation email that we send to you in response to your request. If you don’t confirm, we won’t contact you again. Q. What’s a proxy email address? A. A proxy address is a Matchpoint created email address. We relay messages from providers to you using this address instead of your true email address. This allows you to remain anonymous while you are using the Matchpoint service.

Q. Am I going to get e-mail from Matchpoint? A. You will get very little email from Matchpoint, and only in response to your search for providers. Initially you will get a confirmation email so that we can verify your interest. Next, for your reference, you will get a copy of the list of providers that met your search criteria. Finally, Matchpoint will forward up to two emails on behalf of each of the providers that matched your search.

Q. Do I need to setup an account to use Matchpoint? A. No. Just submit a short form and in seconds you'll get matched with providers who want to compete for your business.

Q. Why do I need to provide personal information about myself? A. The only personal information that is required to use the Matchpoint service is your email address and your zip code. This enables us to forward messages from geographically matched providers that are competing to earn your business. All other fields presented on Matchpoint forms are optional.

Q. How will my personal information be used? A. Your email address and zip code will be used by Matchpoint to forward messages from providers that are competing for your business. Any other personal information that you provide via Matchpoint forms will help us to ensure that we match you with the providers that best meet your needs and profile.

Q. Why do I have to wait 72 hours before I can re-do the same search? Or, how can I see more providers for my search? A. We do this in order to provide the first set of matched providers with sufficient time to deliver their messages to you. If after 72 hours none of the providers offer quite what you are looking for and you'd like to evaluate other providers, just resubmit the form and a new set of providers will be delivered to you.

Q. Do providers pay to advertise on Matchpoint? A. Yes, providers pay to be matched with interested searchers and to have Matchpoint relay email messages on their behalf.

Q. How can I find out if there are providers in my area? A. The best way to find out is by submitting a quick Matchpoint form with your email and zip code. If there are matches you'll find out right away. We're adding providers all the time so if you don't get any matches for your search today come back soon and give it another try.

Q. What kind of providers can I find at Matchpoint? A. Lots of different types of providers can use Matchpoint to connect with customers who are in the market for their products and services. From large national insurance or loan companies to local businesses like landscapers, builders, real estate agents or plumbers - you name it. There are over 10 million businesses representing 3000 types of services available through Matchpoint (some data provided by Localeze).

Q. How do I unsubscribe from Matchpoint? A. Actually, there is nothing to unsubscribe from. When you filled out a form and confirmed your address you didn't subscribe to Matchpoint but merely invited providers to compete for your business that one time. Your email did not get added to any subscription lists. If you would like to stop emails from coming from specific providers for any reason, click the link at the bottom of any provider email.

Q. Can I stop providers from emailing me? A. Yes. You can turn off any additional emails that may be scheduled to get delivered to you in response to your search at any time. Simply follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any "Provider Mail" that you received.

Q. How can I advertise on Matchpoint? A. Click here to fill out a short form that will provide us with some information about your business. One of our sales reps will then follow-up with you.
